Quilter´s Canvas
Any one of the single block quilting motifs found in my catalog of designs can be used to create a Quilter's Canvas.Just choose the design you like and place a request for a paintable canvas (Quilter's Canvas) by filing out the special request form at the bottom of this page.
I'll create a custom Quilter's Canvas on either PFD Muslin or Kona Cotton based on your request. Instructions and painting guidelines will be included with your canvas. Any type of fabric paint can be used on a Quilter's Canvas, however I use and recommend Shiva Paintstiks. They are available here.
I recommend that before painting your canvas you choose a companion fabric to use with your Quilter's Canvas. By choosing your companion fabric first, prior to painting and embellishment, you will be able to more successfully custom blend paints and make other embellishment decisions.
Similarly, consider taking that fabric you still have in your stash; you know, that one you fell in love with years ago, but have never been able to use. Create a Quilter's Canvas to showcase that fabric!
